Anand
V. Gumaste, Ph.D.
Co-founder, President, Chief Executive Officer and
Chairman of MicroDose's Board of Directors
Anand
V. Gumaste co-founded MicroDose in 1998 and has served as a member
and Chairman of the Board of Directors since MicroDose's inception.
Dr. Gumaste is a principal inventor of a majority of MicroDose's
core technologies. Prior to the founding of MicroDose, Dr. Gumaste
co-founded Strategic Consulting Group, located in Trenton, NJ,
which focused on developing effective managed healthcare market
strategies for medical device manufacturers. Prior to this, Dr.
Gumaste was the director of electronics at the PA Consulting
Group, Princeton, NJ, where he spent 11 years with responsibilities
including developing products and technology management strategies
for major corporations. Dr. Gumaste also sits on the Boards of
QDose and MicroDose Defense Products, of which he is also the
President. Dr. Gumaste received his Ph.D. in electronics from
the University of Toronto.

Scott Fleming
Co-founder,
Sr. Vice President, Head of Marketing
Scott
Fleming co-founded MicroDose in 1998 and has served as a member
of the Board of Directors since MicroDose's inception. Mr. Fleming
is responsible for all sales and marketing functions at MicroDose.
Mr. Fleming is co-author of several patents issued to MicroDose,
and has presented MicroDose at numerous conferences. Prior to
the founding of MicroDose, Mr. Fleming was the National Sales
Manager for Liberty Technologies, and prior to that was Business
Developer for the healthcare practice of the PA Consulting Group,
Princeton, NJ, specializing in drug delivery consulting. Prior
to PA, Mr. Fleming spent 12 years with Schlumberger Limited,
starting his career as a field engineer and rising through the
sales and marketing ranks to become the North American Sales
Training Manager. Mr. Fleming also sits on the Boards of QDose
and MicroDose Defense Products. Mr. Fleming received his B.A.
cum laude from Middlebury College in Vermont.

Dave
Byron
Vice
President of Research and Development
Dave
Byron joined MicroDose in 2002 and is responsible for all research
and development activities in the company. Mr. Byron is an experienced
and successful leader with over twenty-five years of performance
in managing scientific, technical, and business development functions
within pharmaceutical companies ranging in size from multi-national
entities to start-up enterprises. Most recently, Mr. Byron was
Executive Vice President of Scientific Affairs with Sheffield
Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that he held high level positions with
several pharmaceutical companies, including Bock Pharmacal Company,
Sanofi-Winthrop Pharmaceuticals, Bristol-Myers-Squibb and Sterling
Drug. Mr. Byron received a B.Sc. in Chemistry from St. John Fisher
College and a Masters in Business Administration from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute.

Michael
Martin
Vice President, Licensing and Corporate Development
Michael Martin, Vice President of Business Development-Mike joined MicroDose in 2006 from Odyssey Pharmaceuticals,
a specialty pharmaceutical Company where he helped build the company into a $100 million
branded specialty pharmaceutical company focused on respiratory and urology with 600
employees. Mr. Martin has 20 years of Business Development experience in the
pharmaceutical industry covering external partnerships and acquisitions. Before Odyssey,
Mike worked in the Business Development function for Roche, Sanofi-Aventis,
American Cyanamid and Warner-Lambert. He has published articles in professional
Journals and has an MBA in Finance from New York University and a Chartered
Financial Analyst designation.

Krall
Senior Director, Finance
John
Krall joined MicroDose in 2004 and is responsible for financial
systems and controls. Prior to joining MicroDose, Mr. Krall was
the Global Finance Manager/Controller for the PA Consulting Group,
Princeton, NJ, where he spent over 14 years in two stints, starting
as assistant controller. Prior to PA, Mr. Krall was North American
Field Controller for Atos Origin, Murray Hill, NJ and prior to
that assistant controller at Caliper Corporation of Princeton,
NJ and PA Consulting. Mr. Krall received his B.Sc. in Accounting
from Rider University, his Associate of Science degree in accounting
from Mercer County Community College and his CPA from the State
of New Jersey.

Rajesh B. Shukla,Ph.D.
Senior Director, Pharmaceutical Development Group
Dr. Shukla joined MicroDose in 2007 and leads the Pharmaceutical Development Group. Dr. Shukla brings extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Shukla previously managed the discovery program at Luna Innovations and identified corporate alliance partners to transition fullerene chemistry into novel chemotypes for various imaging targets. Prior to joining Luna, Dr. Shukla led efforts at Bristol-Myers Squibb for the development and launch of a Hepatitis B agent and enabled preclinical and clinical MRI biomarkers for Alzheimer’s. Dr. Shukla began his career with Bristol-Myers/Bracco Research USA, where he led the design of MRI contrast agents. He earned a B.Sc. in biochemistry from Lehigh University, a doctorate in Chemistry/Biophysics from Carnegie-Mellon University and was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at Yale University.

Ron
Britt, Ph.D.
Director of Quality Assurance
Ron
Britt joined MicroDose in 2004, and is responsible for quality
assurance, quality systems and controls. Dr. Britt has almost
30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the disciplines
of chemistry, research and quality systems. Prior to joining
MicroDose, Dr. Britt was Sr. Compliance Specialist/Technical
Investigator, Quality Assurance, at Novartis Pharmaceuticals,
and prior to that over 20 years in a variety of positions at
Ciba Pharmaceuticals and Ciba-Geigy Corporation. Dr. Britt received
his B.S. in Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University, NJ,
and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Fordham University in
NYC.
